Habib Ali Jaafar Al-Aydarus is known as shaman Ali by the people at his place because of his unsual talent. He is 95 years old (2008) and coming from the family of Prophet(sawaws) through Imam Hassan Hussein*(as) as told by his grandchild Ibrahim. He is living in Batu Pahat – Johor, Malaysia.
Anyone who met with him will never forget the memories of meeting with him until their last breathe. His holiness in following Prophet(sawaws)’s sunnah is clearly portrayed through his actions. Among of those character of Prophet(sawaws) that he invented within his heart and portrayed through his action are, he will not turning his back at his guest when he wanted to be in other room . He will slowly walk facing his guest until he get out from the living room. (subhanallah) He love to be entertained by qasidah or burdah that is bringing the salawat in it when he is not in good mood or sad. He will ask his grandchild to recite qasidah or burdah for him.
Anyone who get invited to be a guest for a night in his house will be regarded as lucky by many people who knows him. People can never doubt about his karamah and goodness that are sparkling around him and his guest when they visited him.
His life was tested with many tests from Allah swt.
Among of his saintly signs are his prayer are always got fast effect, he will know about people without they have to tell him, he will know who will come to visit him without no one tells him and many more that’s remaining as secret between him and his Lord.
There’s time when people came to him and telling him about their needs and then he ask his son to take his money under his praying mat. His son knows that there’s no money under it and said that there’s no money under his praying mat. But he insisted, his son went to check and found out that the money is there. He is not living in a big and a good house but rather a kind of wooden village house. Anyone who sees his house will know that its a poor person’s house and he spend all of his time in the house.
Ironically, even though he only spending his life in the house many people get to know him from every where around the world. The famous sunni scholars such as Habib Ali Jufry,Habib Omar al-hafidh and scholar from KSA are among them. Subhanallah. The beauty of a shiny diamond can never be veiled by anything. Allah will spread his lovers’ name and proud of having them as His servant. Subhanallah.
If anyone see him will know the sign of lovers of Allah are with him. His shiny body and his unsual acts are becoming the proof of Allah’s existence.
If anyone knows Ayatollah behjat(ra),and visited Habib Ali jaafar Al-aydarus, they will never reject that both of them have the same looks. Ayatollah Behjat(ra) are known as saint among the shias and have his own karamah.
May peace be upon the truthful followers of RasulAllah(sawaws),His family and His righteous sahabah.

i thought one of the major pre-requisites for one to be a saint is to have correct aqidah, i.e. the one should be from ahl sunnah wal jamaah
alhamdullillah, our family had the priviledge to meet him and true to what was said about him. we will never forget those quiet afternoons where we came to visit him. that calmness and piercing happiness we felt…we will never forget that. May Allah blessed the soul of such a wonderful and humblest man in our time.

I am so blessed to spend and pray with him.Often visits him when driving habaibs from Spore to visit him.During which he once told us to pay visit o Hb Umar al Mudhor in batu pahat.Hb Ali told to visit Hb Syekh(ampel) Al Aydrus.Through him Hb Ali voice is heard at his maqam…Subhanallah

An “arif” will not always born through the true aqeedah nor belief..you wud agree with me if i said..Salman al-farisi(ra) a sahaba of Rasulullah (peace be upon him and his family) wasnt born from a true aqeedah but he ended up his life beautifully as a great “saint” and “ariif”.But Salman was actually born with one love and longing,that is love and longing towards Allah swt.Thats why he finally found rasulullah(peace be upon him and his family and his sahabah)as his teacher.
He,behjat, might be living in a community that have wrong aqeedah but that doesnt mean he is with them.He is there to correct them in a way that permitted by God.
You never know the true story if you have not been living with them.Allah swt is unique so do his friends.He the most high will provide such uniqueness towards his friends in order for them to be His signs for human to see and to follow wht does God really want.We can never know the limits of God’s knowledge coz He is unlimited.
I’m not saying truthful aqeedah is not in need in order to be a saint and arif…..but an ariff doesnt need aqeedah when he is an ariff.
And not everyone with a correct aqeedah will embrace to jannah instantly.
We might be the “people” of shafie but Imam as-shafie(ra) is the people of God and His Rasul(peace be upon him and his family).He do not need a mazhab but we need it.
Not every shia scholars in wrong aqeedah. Some of them profess the same aqeedah(or i will say a true understanding over islamic belief) like us but wearing their traditional way in order to give some light to their people.
