رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يَقُولُ : " ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ وَنَجْدَةُ وَالْحَجَّاجُ يَتَهَافَتُونَ فِي النَّارِ تَهَافُتَ الذُّبَابِ فِي الْمَرَقِ ، فَإِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُنَادِيَ أَسْرَعَ إِلَيْهِ " .
