" وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ ، فَسَارَّهُ بِشَيْءٍ ، ثُمَّ نَزَلَ الأَسْوَدُ وَلَبَّى ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ ، فَظَنَّ النَّاسُ أَنَّ الأَسْوَدَ أَمَرَهُ بِذَلِكَ " .
