رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ سَهْمِ ذَوِي الْقُرْبَى ، الَّذِي ذَكَرَ اللَّهُ ، وَفَرَضَ لَهُمْ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ وَأَنَا شَاهِدٌ " كُنَّا نَرَى أَنَّهُمْ قَرَابَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَبَى ذَلِكَ عَلَيْنَا قَوْمُنَا " .
