رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ رَجُلا يُصَلِّي مُلْتَحِفًا ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ حِينَ سَلَّمَ : لا يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ مُلْتَحِفًا ، وَلا تَشَبَّهُوا بِالْيَهُودِ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لأَحَدِكُمْ إِلا ثَوْبٌ وَاحِدٌ ، فَلْيَتَّزِرْ بِهِ " .
