رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ : " أَدُّوا زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ ، عَنْ كُلِّ صَغِيرٍ وَكَبِيرٍ ، حُرٍّ وَمَمْلُوكٍ ، ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَى " .
