، قَالَ لِلْمُسْتَوْرِدِ : " عَلَى دِينِ مَنْ أَنْتَ ؟ قَالَ : عَلَى دِينِ عِيسَى ، قَالَ عَلِيٌّ : وَأَنَا عَلَى دِينِ عِيسَى ، فَمَنْ رَبُّكَ ؟ فَزَعَمَ الْقَوْمُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : إِنَّهُ رَبُّهُ ، فَقَالَ : اقْتُلُوهُ ، وَلَمْ يَتَعَرَّضْ لِمَالِهِ " .
