رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ : إِنِّي صَلَّيْتُ صَلاةً لَمْ أَقْرَأْ فِيهَا شَيْئًا ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : أَلَيْسَ قَدْ أَتْمَمْتُ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : تَمَّتْ صَلاتُكَ " .
