، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ لِبَنِيهِ : " يَا بَنِيَّ ، لَا يُهْدِيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ الْبُدْنِ شَيْئًا ، يَسْتَحْيِي ، أَنْ يُهْدِيَهُ لِكَرِيمِهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَكْرَمُ الْكُرَمَاءِ ، وَأَحَقُّ مَنِ اخْتِيرَ لَهُ " .
