قَالَ ابْنُ شَوْذَبٍ ، : رُئِيَ سَلْمَانُ ، وَعَلَيْهِ كِسَاءٌ مُعَلَّمُ الرَّأْسِ سَاقِطُ الأُذُنَيْنِ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : شَوَّهْتَ بِنَفْسِكَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْخَيْرَ خَيْرُ الآخِرَةِ " .
