وَأَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ نَاجِيَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ : " لَوْ رَأَيْتُمْ مُعَاوِيَةَ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ قُلْتُمْ : هُوَ الْمَهْدِيُّ " .
