حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ شُعْبَةَ ، قُلْتُ : " مَا تَرَى فِي الشِّعْرِ الرَّقِيقِ ؟ قَالَ : أَنْشَدَنِي ابْنُ عَوْنٍ شِعْرًا رَقِيقًا " .
