رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْهِلالِ ، فَإِذَا رَاكِبٌ ، فَقَالَ : " مِنْ أَيْنَ أَقْبَلَتْ ؟ " فَقَالَ : مِنَ الشَّامِ ، قَالَ : " أَهْلَلْتَ ؟ " قَالَ : نَعَمْ . فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : " اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، يَكْفِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَحَدُهُمْ " .
