" سُئِلَ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ تُجَّارِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ , يَدْخُلُونَ بِلادَ الْعَجَمِ فَيَسْتَرِقُّ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا هَلْ يَصْلُحُ لَهُ أَنْ يَشْتَرِيَهُمْ وَهُو يَعْلَمُ ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ " .
