رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : " الْمَمْقُوتُ عِنْدَنَا الْمُمْتَلِئُ شَحْمًا ، بَرَّاقُ الثِّيَابِ ، وَهِيَ الْمُرُوءَةُ فِيكُمُ الْيَوْمَ ! " .
