تَمَنَّى أُمْنِيَّتَهُ لَحَدَّثْتُكُمْ ، قَالَ : قُلْنَا حَدِّثْنَا فَلَسْنَا عَلَى مَا يَقُولُ النَّاسُ ، قَالَ : إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ اللَّيْلَةَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَنَامِي هَذَا ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّكَ شَاهِدٌ فِينَا الْجُمُعَةَ " .
