رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : " الْكُوفَةُ رُمْحُ الإِسْلامِ ، وَقُبَّةُ الإِسْلامِ ، وَحُجَّةُ الْعَرَبِ ، يُكْفُوْنَ ثُغُورَهُمْ وَيَمُدُّونَ الأَمْصَارَ " .
