قَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ : " إِبْرَاهِيمُ تَوَلاهُ الأُمَمُ كُلُّهَا الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى وَالْمَجُوسُ وَالنَّاسُ أَجْمَعُونَ ، وَشَهِدُوا لَهُ بِالْعَدْلِ فَذَلِكَ اللِّسَانُ الصِّدْقُ وَهُوَ الأَجْرُ الَّذِي آتَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا " .
