وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو نَصْرٍ ، عَنِ الأَصْمَعِيِّ : " الْعَرَاقِي : الْخَشَبَتَانِ اللَّتَانِ تُعْرَضَانِ كَالصَّلِيبِ عَلَى رَأْسِ الدَّلْوِ , وَالْعُرْقُوَتَانِ : الْخَشَبَتَانِ اللَّتَانِ تَضُمَّانِ مَا بَيْنَ الْوَاسِطَةِ وَآخِرَةِ الرَّحْلِ " .
