أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو نَصْرٍ , عَنِ الأَصْمَعِيِّ : " الإِصْبَعُ : الأَثَرُ الْحَسَنُ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ عَلَى عَمَلٍ عَمِلَهُ , فَأَحْسَنَ الْعَمَلَ , أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ , يُقَالُ : مَا أَحْسَنَ إِصْبَعَ فُلانٍ عَلَى فُلانٍ " .
