فأَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرٌو , عَنْ أَبِيهِ : " الْمَلَوَانِ : اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ , وَالْوَاحِدُ مَلا ، وَأَنْشَدَنَا : أَلا يَا دِيَارَ الْحَيِّ بِالسَّبُعَانِ أَمَلَّ عَلَيْهَا بِالْبِلَى الْمَلَوَانِ نَهَارٌ وَلَيْلٌ دَائِبٌ مَلَوَاهُمَا عَلَى كُلِّ حَالِ الدَّهْرِ يَخْتَلِفَانِ " .
