أَخْبَرَنَا سَلَمَةُ , عَنِ الْفَرَّاءِ , " لِذِي حِجْرٍ سورة الفجر آية 5 : لِذِي حِجًى وَعَقْلٍ , وَسِتْرٍ , كُلُّهُ يَرْجِعُ إِلَى أَمْرٍ وَاحِدٍ ، الْعَرَبُ تَقُولُ : إِنَّهُ لَذُو حِجْرٍ , إِذَا كَانَ قَاهِرًا لِنَفْسِهِ ضَابِطًا لَهَا مِنْ قَوْلِهِ : حَجَرْتُ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ " .
