: جَاءَ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ فَقَالَ : " أَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ وَالرَّحِمَ ، فَقَدْ أَكَلْنَا الْعِلْهِزَ " ، قَالَ : وَالْعِلْهِزُ : الْوَبَرُ بِالْحَلَمِ ، قَالَ : وَإِنَّ قُرَى قَحْطَانَ قِرْفٌ وَعِلْهِزٌ فَأَقْبِحْ بِهَذَا وَيْحَ نَفْسِكَ مِنْ فِعْلِ .
