أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو نَصْرٍ , عَنِ الأَصْمَعِيِّ ، يُقَالُ : " بَرِحَ الْخَفَاءُ : وَذَلِكَ إِذَا ظَهَرَ , وَأَصْلُهُ مِنَ الْبَرَاحِ , وَالْبَرَاحُ : الْمُتَّسَعُ مِنَ الأَرْضِ الْمُسْتَوِي , تَقُولُ : صَارَ فِي بَرَاحٍ , أَيْ فِي أَمْرٍ مُنْكَشِفٍ " .
