أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو نَصْرٍ , عَنِ الأَصْمَعِيِّ : " الْغَيْثُ الطَّبَقُ : الْعَامُّ , يُقَالُ : اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا طَبَقًا : يَعْنِي عَامًّا " ، قَالَ امْرُؤُ الْقَيْسِ : دِيمَةٌ هَطْلاءُ فِيهَا وَطَفٌ طَبَقَ الأَرْضِ تَحَرَّى وَتَدُرُّ .
