أَخْبَرَنَا سَلَمَةُ , عَنِ الْفَرَّاءِ : " الْحَنِيذُ : مَا حَفَرْتَ لَهُ فِي الأَرْضِ , ثُمَّ غَمَمْتَهُ فَهُوَ مَحْنُوذٌ , وَحَنَذَ فَهُوَ حَنِيذٌ , مِثْلُ طَبِيخٍ لِلْمَطْبُوخِ , وَقَتَيلٍ لِلْمَقْتُولِ " .
