وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو نَصْرٍ ، عَنِ الأَصْمَعِيِّ : يُقَالُ : " فَرَسٌ غَمْرُ الْجَرْيِ أَيْ : كَثِيرَةٌ ، وَأَنْشَدَنَا : صِرْنَا إِلَى كُلِّ طُوَالٍ أَهْوَجَا غَمْرِ الأَجَارِيِّ مِسَحًّا مِمْعَجَا " .
