حَدَّثَنَا الفَضْلُ , عَنْ سَلَمَةَ , عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ , قَالَ : " وَلَدُ مَدْيَانَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَهْلُ مَدْيَنَ قَوْمُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ مَيْكِيلَ هُوَ وَقَوْمُهُ مِنْ وَلَدِهِ , بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِمْ " .
