" أَخْبَرَ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ عِلاطٍ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُتِلَ ، فَبَلَغَ الْعَبَّاسَ ، فَعَقِرَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ ، وَجَعَلَ لا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَقُومَ " .
