" مَنْ طَلَبَ الْعِلْمَ لِلَّهِ لَمْ يُصِبْ مِنْهُ بَابًا إِلا ازْدَادَ بِهِ فِي نَفْسِهِ ذُلا , وَفِي النَّاسِ تَوَاضُعًا , وَلِلَّهِ خَوْفًا " ، رواه ابن مروديه ، عن علي رضي الله عنه ، مرفوعًا ، وفي إسناده : وضاع .
