مِنْ أَشَدِّ النَّاسِ طَعْنًا عَلَى عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، وَقَالَ : " وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ أَبْغَضْتُ عُثْمَانَ وَحَرَّضْتُ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى الرَّاعِيَ فِي غَنَمِهِ وَالسِّقَايَةَ تَحْتَ قِرْبَتِهَا " .
