، وَحَجَّ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ جَالِسٌ فَلَمْ يَقُمْ إِلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ هِشَامٌ : يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، فَقِيلَ : هُوَ عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ " .
