مَرَّ عَلَى غِلْمَانٍ عَلَى بِئْرٍ يُدْلُونَ فِيهَا وَمَعَهُمْ أَمَةٌ تُدَلِّي مَعَهُمْ ، فَقَالَ : " لَعَلَّ صَاحِبَ هَذِهِ أَنْ يَكُونَ يُصِيبَ مِنْهَا ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُهَا فِيمَا تَرَوْنَ ، أَمَا إِنَّهَا لَوْ جَاءَتْ بِوَلَدٍ أَلْحَقْنَاهُ بِهِ " .
