، كَانَ يَقُولُ : " كَانَ الشُّخُوصُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْنَا مِنَ الْقَرَارِ ، وَكَانَ الْمَمْقُوتَ عِنْدَنَا الْمُمْتَلِئُ شَحْمًا بَرَّاقُ الثِّيَابِ ، هِيَ الْمُرُوءَةُ فِيكُمُ الْيَوْمَ " .
