مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُفَضِّلُونَ الرِّبَاطَ عَلَى الْجِهَادِ ، قُلْتُ لأَبِي : وَلِمَ ؟ قَالَ : " لأَنَّ فِي الْجِهَادِ شُرُوطًا كَثِيرَةً ، وَلَيْسَتْ فِي الرِّبَاطِ " .
