رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، كَانَ يَكْتُبُ إِلَى أُمَرَاءِ الأَجْنَادِ أَنْ : " لا يَقْتُلُوا إِلا مَنْ جَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمُوسَى ، وَلا يَأْخُذُوا الْجِزْيَةَ إِلا مِمَّنْ جَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمُوسَى ، وَلا يَأْخُذُوا مِنْ صَبِيٍّ وَلا امْرَأَةٍ " .
