أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : " كُلُوا يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْدُوا ، وَلا تَأْكُلُوا يَوْمَ الأَضْحَى حَتَّى تَرْجِعُوا " .
