أَنْشَدَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَزْدِيُّ : إِذَا وُضِعَ الْمَعْرُوفُ فِي غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِ فَذَلِكَ مَعْرُوفٌ لَعَمْرُكَ ضَائِعُ تَوَاضَعْ يَزِدْكَ اللَّهُ عِزًّا وَرِفْعَةً وَيَكْسِبْكَ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ التَّوَاضُعُ .
