ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، ثنا أَبُو قَبِيصَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ خَيْثَمَةُ " لا تُفَارِقُهُ سَلَّةٌ فِيهَا خَبِيصٌ تَحْتَ سَرِيرِهِ ، فَإِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرَّاءُ أَطْعَمَهُمْ " .
