، وَسُئِلَ عَنِ الثَّوْمِ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا كَانَ بِأَرْضِنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَوْمٌ ، وَإِنَّمَا الَّذِي نُهِيَ عَنْهُ الْبَصَلُ وَالْكُرَّاثُ " .
