بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، التَّغْبِيبُ : تَرْكُ الْمُبَالَغَةِ ، يُقَالُ : غَبَّبَ فُلَانٌ فِي الْحَاجَةِ إِذَا لَمْ يُبَالِغْ فِيهَا .
