نا أَبُو طَالِبٍ الْهَرَوِيُّ ، نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنِ الأَجْلَحِ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ كُهَيْلٍ فِي النَّوْمِ ، فَقُلْتُ : أَيَّ الأَعْمَالِ وَجَدْتَ أَفْضَلَ ؟ قَالَ : قِيَامُ اللَّيْلِ " .
