قَالَ أَبُو الحسن : وقال عوانة : " أتي مسلم بيزيد بْن عَبْد اللَّهِ بْن زمعة ، فَقَالَ : بايع ، فَقَالَ : أبايعك عَلَى كتاب اللَّه وسنة نبيه ، فأمر بقتله " .
