، قَالَ : " أَتَيْتُ عَلَى ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ يَوْمَ الْيَمَامَةِ وَهُوَ يَتَحَنَّطُ ، فَقُلْتُ : أَيْ عَمِّ أَلا تَرَى ؟ فَقَالَ : الآنَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي ، ثُمَّ تَقَدَّمَ فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ " .
