وَأَنْشَدَنِي أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ الْعَزْرَمِيُّ : " وَإِنِّي لا يَكُنْ لِلْكَرِيمِ الَّذِي أَرَى لَهُ أَرَبًا عَنْدَ اللَّئِيمِ يُطَالِبُهْ وَأَرَثَى لَهُ مِنْ مَوْقِفٍ عِنْدَ بَابِهِ كَمَرْثيَّتِي لِلطَّرَفِ وَالْعِلْجُ رَاكِبُهُ " .
