وَهُوَ مُسْنَدٌ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْبَاذَقِ ، فَقَالَ : " سَبَقَ مُحَمَّدٌ الْبَاذَقَ ، وَمَا أَسْكَرَ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ " .

سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْجَوْيرِيَةِ الْجَرْمِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : إِنِّي لأَوَّلُ الْعَرَبِ سَأَلَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ
