رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ، " أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُعِيلُ الْفَرَائِضَ ، وَسَأَلَهُ ابْنُ الْكَوَّى وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ عَنِ ابْنَتَيْنِ وَأَبَوَيْنِ وَامْرَأَةٍ ، فَقَالَ : صَارَ ثُمُنُهَا تُسْعًا " .
