رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ؛ أَنَّ أُنَاسًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ شَكَوْا إِلَيْهِ الضَّعْفَ ، فَأَمَرَ رَجُلًا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ بِهِمْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَصَلَّى هُوَ بِالنَّاسِ فِي الْجَبَّانَةِ ، وَقَالَ لَهُمْ : " لَوْلَا السُّنَّةُ لَصَلَّيْتُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ " .
