رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ، " أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَحْبِسُ فِي النَّفَقَةِ ، وَفِي الدَّيْنِ ، وَفِي الْقَصَاصِ ، وَفِي الْحُدُودِ ، وَفِي جَمِيعِ الْحُقُوقِ ، وَكَانَ يُقَيِّدُ الدُّعَّارَ بِقُيُودٍ لَهَا أَقْفَالٌ وَيُوَكِّلُ بِهِمْ مَنْ يَحُلُّهَا لَهُمْ فِي أَوْقَاتِ الصَّلَاةِ مِنْ أَحَدِ الْجَانِبَيْنِ " .
