رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، " أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْنُتُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ ، ثُمَّ قَنَتَ بِالْكُوفَةِ ، وَهُوَ يُحَارِبُ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ ، وَكَانَ يَدْعُو فِي قُنُوتِهِ عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ وَأَشْيَاعِهِ " .
